Compassionate, Culturally Informed Therapy for Diaspora Communities Healing Across Borders and Generations

You are not alone

Navigating life’s challenges, especially as an immigrant, person of colour, Indigenous person, LGBTQIA2S+ individual, or someone adjusting to a new life, culture, or circumstance, can feel isolating. You don’t have to go through it alone. I provide a warm, compassionate space to explore your experiences, heal from past struggles, and build a future aligned with your values and goals.

Rarely if ever, are any of us healed in isolation.

For Those Navigating Diaspora, Identity, and the Long Road of Building a Life of Purpose and Meaning

I specialize in supporting BIPOC individuals, immigrants & adult children of immigrants, queer muslims/arabs, and those experiencing anxiety, stress, or trauma. I work with clients who are navigating the profound effects of trauma, including intergenerational and historical trauma, as well as trauma stemming from war, displacement, or migration. These experiences can shape not only individual well-being but also family dynamics, cultural identity, and the ability to feel safe and connected. Together, we work toward healing and a renewed sense of belonging

Land acknowledgement

I live and work on the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations of the Grand River), Anishinaabe, and Chonnonton peoples. This land is part of the Haldimand Tract, a territory promised to the Haudenosaunee in 1784 in recognition of their support during the American Revolutionary War. Today, less than 5% of that original territory remains Six Nations land, a testament to the ongoing dispossession and colonial violence that has shaped this region. As the daughter of Palestinian refugees, I recognize the deep resonance between the experiences of Indigenous peoples here in Canada and my own family's story. The Palestinian experience of forced displacement, the struggle to maintain cultural identity in exile, and the fight for the right to return to one's homeland echoes in the Haudenosaunee's fight to reclaim their stewardship of these lands. My work supporting mental health, cultural healing, and community resilience happens on land that was never ceded. I recognize that my ability to live and work here is a direct result of the ongoing colonial project that displaced Indigenous peoples, and I stand in solidarity with the Six Nations and all Indigenous communities in their ongoing struggle for justice, land restoration, and self-determination. This acknowledgement is one step in our shared journey toward healing and reconciliation—one that recognizes our interconnected struggles for liberation and our collective fight against systems of oppression that seek to divide us.
